There's an update for Sayward residents on the Connected Coast project, bringing high-speed internet to approximately 139 rural and remote communities.
The Sayward Library is hosting an open house today, from 4pm to 6pm.
Residents will learn more about the project, with fibre-to-the-home construction in the area set to begin.
Project members from the Strathcona Regional District & CityWest will be on-site to answer any questions people may have.
There is an interactive map where users can follow along and see the current build status on specific locations, search the status of specific landing sites and zoom in for more details.
You can find the map at Connected Coast.
