The Comox Valley Waste Management Centre in Cumberland is temporarily suspending the acceptance of renovation drywall this week.
The restriction is due to required asbestos testing, following a recent increase in the illegal disposal of drywall containing asbestos.
Testing is expected to continue through Friday.
