The Comox Valley Sports Centre will be closing for annual maintenance from June 20 until August 8.

During this time, the Aquatic Centre will remain open with the summer schedule in effect.

It’s something the team does each year to update infrastructure and complete required facility maintenance.

Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Services says based on feedback from the community they have staggered the maintenance shutdowns to ensure that one facility is always open.

The Aquatic Centre will close for annual maintenance from August 9 to August 29, when the Sports Centre Pool reopens.

Both facilities are closed August 30, 31 and September 1 and will reopen September 2 with the fall schedule in effect.
