A leak identified at the Comox Valley Sports Centre pool last month continues to cause problems.
As a result, the Sports Centre pool will remain closed until further notice.
The leak was first detected on September 1st. Last week, the pool was filled back up but there are still unknown leaks, and the water level isn't holding.
Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Services, says it's disappointing news, but they are doing what they can to make sure community groups and recreation user impacts are considered as best as possible.
Schedule discussions with community groups continue and further programming adjustments will be required to the Aquatic Centre.
