Grade 12 students from Comox Valley Schools have another chance to get fitted for the prom.
“Interested students should use the new website to book a fitting free of charge.” said Kelley Giorgianni, SD 71 work experience and careers coordinator.
“There is also a huge demand for smaller sized suits, pants, shirts and accessories if people have items to donate.”
The Grad Class Attire program gives all students the opportunity to wear a lightly worn gown or suit on graduation day without the financial burden associated with purchasing new ones.
Donations can be dropped off at G.P. Vanier Secondary on school days between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Items can also be dropped off at Comox Valley Dodge Monday-Saturday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Financial donations are also accepted to help offset costs to repair, or purchase required items students may need.
Students do need to schedule an appointment for a session tomorrow, with other sessions happening in April and May.
The project is running out of Comox Valley Dodge.
Upcoming dates:
Saturday, April 20th
Saturday, May 4th
Saturday, May 25th
If you have any questions or would like to donate, contact Kelley Giorgianni at kelley.giorgianni@sd71.bc.ca or call 250-338-2110.
