The Comox Valley Regional District will keep warming centres throughout the district open through at least Thursday morning.
They made the call yesterday to extend the activation to tonight, 10pm to 6am, at the Lower Native Sons Hall in Courtenay, Buchanan Hall in Cumberland, and the Spinnaker building in Comox.
There are also warming spaces available on Hornby Island at Joe King Park Clubhouse, and at the Denman Island Hall.
Residents are asked to contact both locations for hours.
The City of Campbell River had the Community Centre open again last night.
