The Comox Valley Regional District will be working on Brent Road throughout the month of August as part of the sewer conveyance project.
Road closures will last about four weeks starting on August 6th. Prep work in the area will be starting July 31st.
Work will take place between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
Detour routes will be clearly marked and supported with traffic control personnel along the detour route.
Traffic, including Brent Road residents and access to the Comox Valley Water Pollution Control Centre, will be detoured along Curtis Road through the fire gate and along the maintenance access road.
Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and to anticipate additional travel time.
