The Comox Valley Regional District will be providing updates on sewer service for Royston and Union Bay residents at a few info sessions this month.
The proposed Sewer Extension South Project will connect homes and businesses in Royston and Union Bay to the Comox Valley Sewer Service, creating a regional approach for the treatment of wastewater. This new regional system would also serve Union Bay Estates and K’ómoks First Nation Treaty Settlement Lands.
Three events are scheduled, and all interested community members are invited to attend either an in-person, drop-in style open house or a virtual webinar.
The in-person open houses are running at the Union Bay Community Hall on Thursday January 25th, and then Wednesday January 31st at the Fallen Alders Hall on Royston Road.
The online webinar runs Monday, January 29th from 12pm to 1pm.
To register visit Comox Valley Regional District.
The events are intended to provide updates about the collection system design, estimated costs and the timeline for the work ahead.
