A new Tax Calculator has been launched by the Comox Valley Regional District to help residents get the breakdown of their annual property taxes, explore the services they fund and compare to previous year’s totals.

The new online program is intended to explain further how property taxes are used and allows people to customize their own mix of services, depending on where they live/own property.

Rural areas receive their property tax notices from the province’s Surveyor of Taxes Office and owners should have received those notices by now.

Property taxes are due by July 2nd.

The Tax Calculator is now live at Comox Valley RD.
