Comox Valley RCMP are looking for help in locating a missing 40 year old woman.

Josie Van Der Elst was last seen on April 18, 2023 in Union Bay - she was reported missing last week.

Van Der Elst is approximately 5’6 tall, 120lbs, with green eyes and long dark wavy hair.

She was wearing a red backpack and using a bicycle to get around.

“It is unusual for Josie to go this long without contacting friends or family which has caused concern. We’d like to make sure she is alright,” said Constable Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer, Comox Valley RCMP.

“She has connections in Victoria and may have headed in that direction if she is no longer in the Comox Valley.” She added.

If you see Josie Van Der Elst, or know where she may be, please call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321.
