Comox Valley RCMP say a teenager reported missing a week ago has been located.

The 16 year old is safe and sound.

Meanwhile, RCMP are looking to locate 53-year old David Phillips who was last seen at his residence in Courtenay on Wednesday, May 8th.

Phillips is approximately 6 feet tall, 160 lbs with brown/grey hair and hazel eyes. He might be riding his red Chopper style e-bike and is known to frequent the parks in Courtenay.

Constable Monika Terragni says it is unusual for him to go this long without returning home or contacting family or friends.
