Comox Valley RCMP are looking for a suspect after an incident earlier this month.

Police say they received a report just before 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11th, of an indecent act in Ruth Masters Greenway on Powerhouse Road in Courtenay.

A woman reported that she was walking with her dog in the area when she said hello to another man walking along the trail.

A short time later, she saw the man again, but this time he was performing an indecent act. She saw the suspect leaving the area in a small black car.

The suspect was described as wearing a short sleeve button up shirt with a flower pattern that was beige and yellow and loose fitting beige shorts that came down to his knees.

A composite sketch of the suspect has been completed and released to the public in the hopes of identifying the individual.

Anyone who believes they know the identity of the suspect, or has information about this incident, is asked to contact Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321 and refer to file number 2023-8997.
