Comox Valley First Responders and Canadian Armed Forces are teaming up in a charity hockey game against the Comox Valley Glacier Kings tonight.
The event is raising funds - and awareness - for Wounded Warrior Run BC.
All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Foundation, a nationally recognized organization and mental health service provider dedicated to serving ill and injured Trauma Exposed Professionals & their families.
This includes Military, Police, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, Corrections Officers & Health Care Workers.
The wounded Warrior Foundation provides approximately 330,000 hours of clinical treatment to roughly 2,000 Veterans, First Responders and their family members each year.
