A Comox Valley driver has had his vehicle impounded, not once, but twice in the last six months.
According to Comox Valley RCMP Media Relations Officer Constable Monika Terragni, the driver was first nabbed back in November on Headquarters Road travelling at 112 km/ hour (in a 60 km/hour zone).
The Mini Cooper was impounded for 7 days.
Last month, the same Comox Valley Municipal Traffic member was on Veterans Memorial Parkway, when he observed a vehicle travelling at 106 km/ hour (in a 60 km/ hour zone).
He recognized the driver from their previous interaction.
This time, a Pontiac Firebird was impounded for 7 days.
