The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce will soon have a new Executive Director.

The Chamber Board of Directors has announced Paris Gaudet’s departure, effective April 30th.

Gaudet entered the role back in October and the board says her leadership over the last six months has been a transformative experience, adding that her tenure provided an innovating and modernizing of the Chambers systems.

Gaudet says that she “looks forward to my next adventure and continuing to be part of this beautiful community that I now call home. It has been a delight engaging with members and leading the organization as it enters its next chapter. To the Board, thank you for your support and encouragement. To the team that navigated this change with resiliency and tenacity, thank you. It has been an honour and I know that I am leaving the organization in a positive position for the next leader. It is exciting times ahead and I am pleased to have been part of this Chamber’s story.”

The board says it has finalized a search for her replacement and will share news regarding the new Executive Director in the near future.

If you have any questions during the transition process, contact Caroline Cody, Chair, Board of Directors, Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce, at admin@comoxvalleychamber.com.
