The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce has a new Executive Director.
According to the Chamber, Tracey Clarke, a long-time resident of the Comox Valley, is an established community leader through her work experience and volunteer contributions.
Her resume includes experience with local business organizations including the Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association, the Comox Valley Farmers’ Market, the Black Creek Community Centre, and the City of Courtenay.
In addition to her duties as Executive Director, Clarke will continue to manage the Courtenay BIA on a part-time basis for an interim period until a replacement is in place.
Paris Gaudet, who became Executive Director back in October, announced earlier this month she was stepping down from the role.
At the time, the chamber said it was “immensely grateful for all the contributions that Paris has made during her time with the Chamber,” and that the members would “miss her strategic vision, innovation and leadership.”
