The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is handing out some hardware later this week.

The Chamber is celebrating “the amazing businesses, non-profits, and individuals of the Comox Valley” at its awards gala on Thursday night at the Florence Filberg Centre.

In a release, the Chamber says from start-ups to local legends, the awards shine a light on hard-working businesses, business people and community leaders in 18 categories.

2023's event is a reimagined new take on the classic sit-down dinner. Thursday's mingle-friendly evening starts with a champagne reception and appetizers - and an opportunity for those in the crowd to make quality connections and conversations with fellow members of the business community.
