Beginning Tuesday, January 7th, the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre and Campbell River Waste Management Centre will implement new scale software to improve system functionality.

The landfill will remain open during regular operating hours, with the system update taking place prior to opening on Tuesday.

The businesses say scale attendants have been trained in the new software to help maintain normal operations and minimize delays.

Customers are encouraged to review their receipts during the week of January 7 to familiarize themselves with the updated format.
