Police have been made aware and officials with the Town of Comox are hoping to find whoever tore up the grass at the Comox Marina Park last weekend.

Last Saturday night - or early Sunday morning - someone drove a car into Comox Marina Park and then proceeded to significantly damage the turf.

The car is a Volkswagen, and it is unknown how many people were in the vehicle along with the driver.

If you have any information about this incident, you’re asked to call the Comox RCMP non-emergency line at 250-338-1321.
