The Comox Lake wildfire is now under control.
BC Wildfire Services, at last update, said the fire was still covering 5.6 hectares, but was not projected to spread beyond the current perimeter.
The size reflects more accurate tracking, rather than growth.
The fire was discovered Monday and the BC Wildfire Service says the the cause of the fire is still suspected to be human caused.
BCWS officials said they will continue to monitor the fire's behaviour closely.
