A wildfire near Comox Lake is now being held.

BC Wildfire Services provided the update yesterday afternoon.

The fire, discovered on Monday, is about 5.6 hectares in size.

Officials had earlier said there was no immediate risk to recreational and campground structures or critical infrastructure.

Twenty-two BCWS crew were working on the fire as of yesterday, which is believed to be human caused.
