Campbell River Council has approved three agreements for community beautification.
The City will provide 2026 Community Beautification Grant funding to the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association Downtown Campbell River Business Improvement Association, and Willow Point Business Improvement Association.
The program will provide matching funding of $10 thousand for Campbellton, $10 thousand for Willow Point, and almost $15 thousand for Downtown Campbell river.
The grants will support local beautification projects that enhance public spaces and contribute to a more welcoming and attractive community.
Improvements will include initiatives such as maintaining planters, roadside landscaping and cleanups, maintaining downtown cigarette butt receptacles, installing art, repairing heritage signs, hosting community events and more.
