BC Ferries has suspended sailings on the Coastal Celebration until repairs can be completed in dry dock.
Dry dock space has been secured for Monday, July 24 and the vessel is anticipated to return to service late next week.
There will be eight fewer sailings per day between Tsawwassen – Swartz Bay beginning today.
Customers travelling without a confirmed booking are encouraged to consider travelling as a foot passenger as standby vehicle spaces will be reduced while the vessel is out of service.
A suspected oil leak was reported by crew members earlier this week.
For the most up-to-date sailing and departure information, follow BC Ferries on Twitter, or check Current Conditions.
Customers are encouraged to check for updates frequently.
