A section of the Courtenay Riverway was closed yesterday because of a fallen tree.
The tree fell onto a pedestrian bridge over Millard Creek, between Anfield & Millard Rds.
Crews were working at removing the tree yesterday, but the bridge needs some repair.
The work will be completed on Wednesday and the City expects the bridge to be reopened by the end of the day.
