The City of Courtenay is doing some work around Puntledge Park this week.
Single lane alternating traffic will be in place on 1st Street, between Menzies and Woods avenues, from today until Friday.
Crews will be working to reinstall sidewalk panels in the area, daily from 7am to 6pm.
It's part of the work to replace the existing lift station located inside a concrete block building on 1st Street, adjacent to the entrance to Puntledge Park, and upgrade the sanitary sewer system.
The city thanks the community for continued patience.
