City of Courtenay crews need more time this week as they work replacing the lift station on 1st Street.
1st Street will be closed at Menzies Avenue today and tomorrow - they were working last week as well.
At 60 years old, the lift station has reached the end of its service life. New sewer lines are also part of the job.
The full project should be complete by November.
