The City of Campbell River has updated fees related to development applications.
The City says the fee changes take into account the City’s administrative costs to process applications and follow a development-pays-for-development philosophy to help ensure that city taxpayers are not paying for new developments.
The City undertook an extensive review of application fees in peer municipalities, and its updated fees are in line with those in other municipalities of a similar size.
This is the first change to the City’s development application fees since 2010.
