The Comox Valley Regional District reminded residents this week to secure permits before lighting off any fireworks - and the same message is now coming from the City of Campbell River.
The Campbell River Fire Department is throwing its support behind the annual Halloween Fireworks event, sponsored by the Willow Point Firefighters Association.
The event will take place at 8 p.m. on Halloween night, at the Sportsplex.
If you are planning a fireworks event of your own - a permit is required.
Applications must be submitted two weeks ahead of any event, which makes this year’s deadline ahead of Halloween this coming Tuesday, October 17.
You can find what you need at City of Campbell River.
