The City of Campbell River announced that Dot Andrews sadly passed away earlier this month.
Andrews was a lifelong Campbell River resident and a longtime supporter of the community.
She participated on many area boards and committees and had a decades-long record of community service.
Andrews also served several terms as a City Councillor and was a member, and later a chair, of the regional board.
In recognition of her community service, Andrews received the 2004 British Columbia Community Achievement Award (established to celebrate British Columbia’s spirit of excellence) and was named Freeman Andrews in 2004.
Our thoughts are with Dot’s family and friends during this difficult time.
