The City of Campbell River has adopted its strategic plan running through 2026.
The 2023 to 2026 Strategic Plan is a road map that will help realize Council’s vision for the future of Campbell River.
The plan outlines five strategic priorities, which will drive Council decision-making and provide direction for City staff over the next four years.
The plan includes items such as Fiscal Responsibility, Workplace Culture, Health and Safety, Housing, and Indigenous Relationships, among other things.
Council will review the plan quarterly during regularly scheduled Council meetings and will provide a report annually as well.
A Strategic Priorities Chart will be shared that highlights specific action items that tie into each priority.
Mayor Kermit Dahl says council is encouraging residents to get in touch at any time to reflect on the goals and the steps being taken to achieve them.
The Draft 2023-2032 Financial Plan is being deliberated by Council the rest of the week.
