Cities Of Campbell River And Courtenay Release New Meeting Schedules

If you’d like to keep tabs on local government, with a new year and recently elected Council comes new meeting schedules.

The City of Campbell River has released its new meeting schedule, saying Committee of the Whole meetings will take place on Tuesdays beginning at 10:30am, while Council meetings will take place on Thursdays beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Both meetings are held in the Council Chamber at City Hall at 301 St. Ann's Road and can be viewed live online at campbellriver.ca/webcast.

Meeting recordings are made available in the days following.

The City of Courtenay is also making the flip with council meetings being held on Wednesday at 4pm.

 

The public may view Council meetings either in person in the Comox Valley Regional District's Civic Room, 770 Harmston Avenue, Courtenay, or via livestream on the City of Courtenay YouTube Channel.

Meetings live-streamed on YouTube - video will appear on the City of Courtenay's YouTube Channel shortly before 4 p.m.

The meeting duration will vary according to the agenda.

Agendas are normally posted on the Thursday afternoon preceding the Council meeting.
