The Centennial Outdoor Pool was closed yesterday after a spill involving hazardous materials.
The City of Campbell River says the spill happened during a supply delivery. While no injuries were reported, emergency personnel, including the City Fire Department and BC Ambulance Services, were on-site to support the response.
In a release, the City was advising people to stay away from the area.
The City of Campbell River will share updates here and on the City website as soon as the pool is ready to reopen.
