The Centennial Outdoor Pool reopened yesterday following a temporary closure due to a chemical spill.
The pool reopened at 2:30 p.m. yesterday and its regular schedule has resumed.
The spill, involving a common chemical used in pool maintenance, happened Wednesday. 2025.
The City of Campbell River Fire Department and other City staff, RCMP and BC Ambulance Services personnel responded. No injuries were reported.
