Caremongering Campbell River Holding Burger, Beverage And Silent Auction Fundraiser Tonight

Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 8:45 AM

By Jay Herrington

A local group is hosting a tasty and nostalgic fundraiser tonight for Caremongering Campbell River.

The Campbell River Eagles Club is putting on a dinner to raise funds for charity tonight - and selling Del's burgers -  with all the fixings.

All proceeds will head to help folks in Campbell River having a hard time with necessities.

Del's Drive-In Restaurant was a popular destination for decades in Campbell River, going back to the 1950s.

Tickets are $30 each, and you get a deluxe burger, fries and drink. There’s also a huge silent auction.

It’s happening at the Eagles Hall in Campbell River (1999-14th Ave) from 5pm to 7pm.

Caremongering Campbell River works to raise funds to buy groceries for families in need.

The grassroots group of people helping people started in March of 2020. They now have over 4600 members and 76 Screened volunteers who mobilize to help people in need with necessities and support every single day of the year.

For tickets, call or message Tara Jordan (Caremongering Volunteer), at 250-202-7446 to arrange a time, or and send etransfers to taraonthego@hotmail.com.
