Car Crash Leads To Assault In Comox

Comox Valley RCMP responded to a report of an assault at an Aspen Road gas station on Jan. 13.

One man has been arrested and another is in hospital after a serious assault in Comox.

On Friday, January 13, frontline members of the Comox Valley RCMP were called to a gas station on the 900-block of Aspen Road in Comox after a man allegedly assaulted the driver of a vehicle involved in a minor crash at that location.

“The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries and remains in hospital, said Constable Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer, Comox Valley RCMP.

The investigation into this assault is continuing and updates may be provided as it develops, she added.
