The Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks, is making its way back to Campbell River.

They’ll be in town on Monday, July 15th, jumping down to Willow Point Park on Alder Street South at 1230pm.

The Skyhawks are Canada’s only military parachute demonstration team, composed of 13 members from the Canadian Army, the Royal Canadian Navy, and the Royal Canadian Air Force.

They include both Regular Force and Reserve members with diverse professional backgrounds. In addition to the 13 demonstrators, the SkyHawks have four team members on their ground crew: an imagery technician, a public affairs officer and narrator, an administrative officer and a drop zone controller.

The team will be available to chat, sign autographs, take photos and teach about parachutes and gear.
