The City of Campbell River has released its schedule for Canada Day celebrations.
Festivities begin in Willow Point, where early morning activities include live music, a community pancake breakfast, a Bonsai Club display at the Sybil Andrews Cottage, and performances by the Campbell River Pipe Band, Scouts Canada, and more.
Downtown celebrations will keep the festivities going throughout the day.
A Canada Day Marketplace opens in Robert Ostler Park at 11 a.m., followed by the Campbell River Rotary Parade at 4 p.m. Opening ceremonies and birthday cake are scheduled for 6 p.m.
Live entertainment will also be featured on two stages. Spirit Square will host local performers throughout the day, while the River Stage at Ostler Park will feature live music into the evening.
The celebration wraps up with the Quality Foods Festival of Lights fireworks display over Robert Ostler Park.
