Reservations for the 2026 camping season will soon open at Cumberland Lake Park.

New for 2026, Cumberland Lake Park is piloting an extended camping season, welcoming visitors from March 20 through November 8.

This expansion offers more opportunities for spring and fall adventures and provides accommodations during popular Comox Valley race weekends such as the Comox Valley Half Marathon, Snow to Surf, and The Cumby.

Week-long reservations opening February 13 exclude the peak summer season (June 16 through September 7), except for the group site. General reservations open March 2 at 10 AM, for all sites and dates.

Summer camp registration opens March 2 12:30 PM.

Campsites are expected to book quickly, and campers are encouraged to have backup options ready.

Cumberland Lake Park Campground offers a wide range of amenities, including paddle sport rentals, a concession, summer camps, and access to hiking, swimming, and rock climbing.

In 2026, Lake Park Society will continue offering subsidized school programs and a variety of community events such as guided watershed canoe tours, a concert series, and outdoor movie nights.

Lake Park Society is a non-profit organization entrusted with managing and programming Cumberland Lake Park and Campground since 2015.
