Campbell River’s Immigrant Welcome Centre has launched its 2023 Immigrant Survey.
The group wants to know how to better support immigrants, refugees, international students, and temporary workers living in the North Island.
The survey is open to those who have lived in Canada in the North Island for 5 years or less, and are 19 years or older.
The survey is anonymous, and there’s some prizes attached for participants.
The Immigrant Welcome Centre helps newcomers settle, adapt, and thrive in Campbell River, the Comox Valley, and northern Vancouver Island.
They offer settlement support services, nationally-recognized Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), and social groups and programs to help newcomers make connections in their new communities.
They also say they forge partnerships with organizations and people in the region who share our dream of a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community where everyone thrives.
You can find the survey at Campbell River Immigrant Welcome Centre as it will be up until July 7th.
