The City of Campbell River will be carrying out maintenance work on Discovery Pier today, from 8am to 430pm.
The pier will be closed to the public for the duration of the work.
The City asks the public to follow all signage and safety controls in place.

There are close to two dozen wildfires burning on Vancouver Island now.
Partial Road Closure on Hilchey Road for Work on Bike Lanes
There will be periodic partial road closures on Hilchey Road, between Dogwood Street and Island Highway South starting today, through Thursday.
Harrogate Road and Erickson Road Intersection Closure Extended to September 4th
