There is an open house tonight for Campbell River residents to review the draft Quinsam Heights Neighbourhood Plan.

It takes place from 5pm to 7pm at the Rotary Fieldhouse on Merecroft Road.

The 20-year roadmap will help guide decision-making on land use planning and development in Quinsam Heights, consisting of priority policies and actions for five categories: 

• Housing
• civic/institutional
• environment, parks and open space
• infrastructure and servicing
• transportation and mobility.

The City will review all feedback received during the open house and through the City’s engagement platform, Get Involved Campbell River, before finalizing the draft and presenting it to Council for consideration.
