Campbell River Council has approved, in principle, three grants for area-specific beautification initiatives, public art, and public space programming.
The 2026 program will provide $10,000 in matching funds to the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association and Willow Point Business Improvement Association, and almost $15,000 to the Downtown Business Improvement Association.
Work will include decorative lighting, murals, flowers and flower pots, signage, litter abatement, and event programming.
Council will consider the proposed partnering agreements at next month’s regular council meeting.
