The Campbell River Shoebox Project has wrapped up another successful Holiday Campaign, delivering hundreds of gifts to women in need across the region.
With strong community support, donations, and grant funding, the project provided about 630 Shoebox gifts, each valued at $50, to women who are less fortunate in Campbell River and Port Hardy and the North Island.
Organizers say this year set an all-time record for Shoebox deliveries to local shelters and agencies in Campbell River, highlighting the growing impact of the campaign.
Each Shoebox included thoughtful, gift-filled items donated by members of the community, along with additional supplies and funding to ensure every box met the project’s $50 value.
The Campbell River Shoebox Project says the success of this year’s campaign reflects the generosity of the community and thanks everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported the effort to make the holidays brighter for women in need.
