Drivers travelling in the Campbell River area this week may experience delays due to some upcoming overnight road work by Upland Contracting.

Petersen Road will be closed at Croatian Road beginning the evening of Wednesday, November 26th and continuing through the early morning hours of Thursday, November 27th.

The closure will be in effect from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

During the closure, a detour will reroute drivers through Willis Road and Nicola Road to reconnect with Petersen.

Residents on Croatian Road will need to turn right and access the detour while work is underway.

Motorists are advised to follow signage, slow down in the work zone, and allow for extra travel time.
