The Campbell River RCMP are seeking the public’s help in finding a missing man.
53 year old Michael Surgenor is described as caucasian, 185 cm (6 feet tall) and about 80 kgs (176 lbs). He has close-cropped brown/gray hair and was wearing camouflage pants, a grey crew neck shirt and possibly a camouflage coat.
Surgenor was last known to be in Campbell River on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 at around 10:00 am.
It is believed he may have tried to go hunting in a backroad area that was new to him.
Reports on Facebook surfaced on Thursday saying Surgenor's vehicle may have been found.
Police and Michael’s family are very concerned for Surgenor’s well-being and ask that if anyone has seen or heard from him or comes in contact with his vehicle that they call the Campbell River RCMP as soon as possible at 250-286-6221.
