Campbell River RCMP continue to investigate several Break and Enters in the community.

Police say between Monday July 13th to this Monday the 20th, they have responded to nine Break and Enter incidents in the community’s downtown core.

All of the incidents involve the smashing of glass at local businesses, with entry being made in seven of the nine attempts.

The bulk of the incidents have occurred between 1:00 am and 6:00 am, with rocks and bricks used to break front doors and make entry to the businesses.

Investigators are actively reviewing video and forensic evidence in efforts to identify suspects and have ramped up their downtown presence in attempts to prevent further occurrences.
