The Campbell River Outpatient Lab is again taking walk-in patients today.
Island Health made the decision to temporarily close the lab in North Island Hospital to walk-ins on Saturday.
Inpatient lab work, emergency sample collections and sample drop off service continued during the closure.
Patients requiring walk-in outpatient lab services were directed to the LifeLabs location in Courtenay, but things should be running today as normal.
