Eligible voters in Campbell River can now apply to cast their ballot by mail in this fall's local government election.
Residents have until September 18th to complete an online application to have a voting package mailed to them.
After that date, vote-by-mail packages can still be requested, but they'll need to be picked up in person at City Hall.
Mail voting packages will be sent out after the nomination period closes and the list of candidates is finalized in September.
Completed mail ballots must be received at City Hall by 4:30 p.m. on October 16th.
Voters can also hand-deliver their completed ballot to the Presiding Election Official at the Campbell River Community Centre between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Election Day, October 17th.
Ballots received after the deadline won't be counted.
Find the online application and all election information at City of Campbell River.
