The Campbell River Library is holding a costume swap and looking for donations to get things started.

You can drop off your old, and CLEAN, costumes at the library between now and Thursday, October 20th.

Donors will then receive a voucher to take a new costume off the rack on swap day, Friday October 21st, beginning at 10am.

If you don't have a costume to donate, but are still in need, all remaining costumes will be free for the taking on Saturday, October 22 from 1-3pm.

The Library says it's hoping to make the costume swap an annual event.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
