The Campbell River Library costume swap is underway today.

Donors have been dropping off their older and clean costumes in exchange for a donated costume - and today is swap day.

Those who donated, and have vouchers, can start browsing the racks, at the library, at 10am this morning.

If you didn't have a costume to donate, but are still in need, all remaining costumes will be free for the taking Saturday, October 22 from 1pm to 3pm.

The Library says it's hoping to make the costume swap an annual event.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
